Keizer City Hall and Police Station

2011 Hammurabi Honor Award Recipient.

Started in 2008 and finished 2009, the most prominent architectural feature of this project is the CMU exterior. Designed in a unique ashlar pattern, over 82,000 block were meticulously laid out and placed in Group Mackenize’s striking design. The CMU police enclosure was a combination of form and function, providing the functionality of a security fence while at the same time maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the building adjacent to it. J&S Masonry also lay a number of pieces of precast concrete at benches, statues and other locations around the grounds.
