Dexter Yard, Located on 700 Dexter Ave. in Seattle Washington, is a gold prize winner at the Masonry Excellence Awards. This award winning building was designed by SKB Architects.
The project is two buildings connected by sky bridging where brick masonry is the prominent architectural feature for the first 4 floors.
The project used a 5 color blend of Brick provided by Mutual Materials.
There are 5 different patterns, running bond, stack bond, basket weave and herringbone.
J&S Masonry also installed the large precast caps and stair treads provided by NW Precast.
There are two smaller separate coffee shop buildings on the lower levels that have a Glazed Thin Brick blend provided by Fireclay Tile.
J&S was provided scaffold access to the permitter of the building and up the center core of the building 160 feel tall using Fraco Scaffold.
